The first four of me experimenting with a self-made textured brush. I like it :) These images are not very big, and were relatively quick to make, around 45 minutes each! I was also having fun with colour overlays to create more mood. Will definitely do more like this! So, we have Mortimer, Madeleine, Lamia and Tuyen here. Figured I'd draw some of my less-often drawn ladies for once. And Mo, 'cause I had this picture in my mind and had to put it on paper, so to speak! :D Would anyone be interested in commissioning a similar artwork of their character/animal of choice for €12 ? (I just heard what the upcoming mandatory excavations are gonna cost me and I don't like it :C €600 is a terrible amount of money for someone who has no job! So yeah, saving time)

I really like this style, especially amazing for something that took less than an hour! I really like Tuyen here. Madelaine also looks great with the green eyes and matching neck-cloth, and the green overlay brings it all together.
By the way, there's something I've been wondering about. Is the fur on Morty's feet a part of his design?

(By the way, also sending a compliment from my mother who happened to look over mys shoulder ^^)

Thank you very much :D I can draw them in such little time because I know my characters through and through, with commissions it takes somewhat longer because I have to get to know them first! I'm not sure I understand which fur you mean, is it the fluffy elbows? Then yes, that's part of his design :) Haha, thanks to your mother too, then :D

Ah, I see :3 It's always harder to draw an animal you don't know, and of course also markings and body-build and so on.
I was talking about his paws ^^ You draw his fur down to his nails, but mice usually has naked feet. I was curious if it was because of his design, like the yellow eyes, or if it's because dormice usually have furry feet :)

I see! I guess it's a mix of both reasons, actually! [link] as you can see the feet are less furred, but still look white-ish. The fur is less dense but still present (but not on the underside of the paws, both front and back, the soles and palms are naked). They have more furry feet than house mice or rats, for example :)

Then that's where I got confused! I'll suppose the amount also differ from dormouse to dormouse, so it makes sense for a character to have more furry feet ^^ And oh my, these things are so adorable, even my mother likes them and she's terrified of mice. Especially those babies, awwww! I truly understand why you choose to make a dormouse character.

Yup, each individual is different so I take some liberty with their design haha. Yes aren't they adorable?! The markings, face shape and fluffy tail are perfect, I love these little critters :D
