More Esben! For some reason I just really enjoy painting this little guy, and he seems to become more evil every time I do... He's supposed to be rubbing his paws together, like he's plotting something or waiting for his plan to unfold, full of anticipation. And yes, he has altered his appearance a bit. He likes to add horns, antlers or extra tails. He knows it freaks other creatures out to see him like that, and he loves it. Same with the eyes, they are usually dark green, almost entirely black (as is normal for beech martens) but when he gets excited, angry or uses his powers, the pupils get this light glowing from within, looking slitted, like a cat's. It's the closest you'll get to seeing Esben's true form, as the eyes are supposed to be the windows to the soul... And whatever Esben truly looks like, he does not want to show it off. I can't imagine it's pretty though...

I am starting to enjoy this kind of lineless painting a lot! I found some new brush settings which work better for me than the other time. I like the texture they gave, and the slight roughness of the painting. I need more practice though: I want to be able to do this faster and more efficient, but I am very happy with this painting :D I think it took me between 4-5 hours, not including the first sketch, as I made that in my sketchbook a month ago.

He got horns now, the lil' bugger! He can probably think of some really awful forms to take on when he wants to scare people. The comment with the eyes really got me, brrr ... I like wondering about how he 'really' looks like.
His tails are looking really nice.
That's neat! I really like your lined style, but it's always wonderful to feel that something new is working :3 Oh, I also want to be faster with my paintings ...
