Plushie: Black Kitten Commission

My latest creation is this black kitten, commissioned by ! This little girl is approximately 15 cm long (6 inch) and is made of soft, black faux fur which seems to have little silvery hairs when seen in sunlight, but with little light it is pitch-black. The blue on her ears and paws was requested by the commissioner and is made of very short piled, soft fabrics. The pattern is a completely new one and the hardest I've made so far. It is also the first asymmetrical pattern I've designed! I really like the outcome, though I may make the hind legs longer if I were to use this pattern again. She has a rather innocent look on her face: with big, red-brown eyes, a pink nose and a subtle smile. The pipe cleaner in the tail enables movement and tail posing. I hope she'll have a happy home in France with ~carbonacat!

Materials:
black synthetic fur and blue miniature fabric, stuffed with polyester fibrefill and plastic pellets for weight. The eyes are made of glass and the nose and mouth are embroidered on. She has a little tag on one of her hind legs that says 'Avanii' on one side and '2012' (the year it was made) on the other side. 100 % hand made.
