Plushie Commission: Philosopher the Fox

The finished plushie commission for of their character Philosopher: [link] . She's 18 cm (7 inch) from nose to butt with a big, fluffy tail. I was asked to make a plushie similar to my Todd , so I took this opportunity to improve the pattern and make them less chubby and a bit more fox-like, while still keeping the cute look I am very pleased with the outcome of this commission: I love working with different lengths of fur, and even though this plushie consists of many, many tiny parts that sometimes almost drove me mad, it was well worth it. the red fur and long black are especially soft and thick.

Philosopher was made with 3 different lengths of fabric (6, 13 and 30 mm), which are all synthetic and very soft. She has Copic shading on her ears, paws (as pads) and near the eyes. Her eyes are of green glass with a black round pupil and her nose and mouth are embroidered on. The face was scissor-sculpted. She is stuffed with fibrefill and has plastic pellets in her belly. Can easily stand on her own.
