Plushie: Sibirica the Siberian weasel 2

I totally forgot to upload this one, oh my! Made back in March or April 2012 I think, it's still one of my favourite plushies of one of my favourite characters (I know I shouldn't have favourites, but Sibi's special to me haha) and a remake of this old one: , which is still cute but doesn't represent her very well. This one's much better in terms of anatomy and facial structure! Similar pattern to Mikio the marten and indeed, it works better on weasels than it does on martens. Her fur is not this bright in real life, but the sunset was very pretty and the orange does look good against the blue sky Unlike the previous plushie, this Sibirica has nearly all markings sewn on, with the exception of the two eyebrow spots and the shading on her soles. A pipecleaner in the tail enables poseability.

From nose to butt she is 21 cm (approx. 8,5 inches) with a 15 cm tail. The fur on the muzzle and ears was cut short to make her appear more like a weasel would. When seen from the front, her face appears somewhat triangular, which is exactly what I wanted, so I'm very happy still! The triangle is a reoccurring shape in Sibi's design (as she is a fire elemental, I thought it would be fitting to use the shape representing it in her markings and body, though I couldn't get all of them to point upwards, hah). Of course, she has blue glass eyes and an embroidered nose and mouth. All materials are artificial.
