The Storyteller Bookmark

I figured it was time for a new bookmark (I've been using [link] the whole year) and what better subject to draw than my own book-loving rat character? So here's Benjamin, reading from an old book to the young mouse named Millie, who cannot read herself but enjoys stories a lot. She seems pretty excited! I left the book empty on purpose: as soon as I come across a nice quote in one of the books I read, I'll put it there. So eventually Ben will be reading from pages filled with my favourite quotes from different books It seemed pretty neat to me. The white specks on Ben's fur is the paper's textures showing through: I put a thick layer of Copic ink there and I think the paper is fully saturated with it at some places, hence the white specks. They're barely visible in real life though.

Materials used:
Copic Sketch markers, way too many colours to count.
Black and Sepia drawing ink for the lines and White ink for the eyes
Smooth Bristol paper (very very suitable for bookmarks as it is a very nice sturdy paper!)
