Plushie Commission: Teddy Quinn

A fluffy teddy plushie of this amazing character Quinn for MrGremble. I mean, look at this cutie: mrgremble.deviantart.com/art/Q… That design is so up my alley and I was so excited to make a plush of it! But no matter how much I like this plush, it was so hard to take good photos of it! Sometimes you have plushies that look good on every angle in photos, and sometimes, they look great in real life, but the camera just struggles? I hope this conveys at least a little of what this teddy looks like. Quinn is made of high quality faux furs (including some Schulte) and minky, she has plastic safety joints in her head and limbs and a wired tail. She cannot stand on her own due to the shape of her legs, but sits just fine. I did a lot of trimming of the dark brown fur, as it is extremely dense and fluffy! The limbs looked really shapeless when I stuffed them at first xD Lots of trimming and scissor sculpting required to make them look right. I really struggled with the neck joint though, as the fabric was a little too tight and it was near impossible to make the joints connect. I managed in the end, but it is a bit more of a sensitive area than the other joints, which were easy. Yeah, a little miscalculation on my end, but it all worked out eventually. Just... don't tug on her head xD Quinn has some Copic shading around the muzzle, eyes, and feet, as well as some acrylic paint accents on the dark brown fur and the tail. It is more apparent in real life than on photos, unfortunately. Her fur is very soft! She has some steel shot in her belly to make her heavier and to make it easier for her to sit. This is standard procedure for teddies. Her little horns are needle felted of sheepwool and her eyes, nose, mouth, and toes are embroidered.

Quinn is 21 cm (8,3 inch) tall when sitting and 27 cm (10,6 inch) when standing.
