Timekeeper

Mortimer the garde dormouse often has a very curious effect on timekeeping devices... They seem to mutually influence each other, for better or worse?

One of the things I want to get better at this year is digital painting, so now that I have a day off, I took my chance to work on a very old draft I made somewhere last year or maybe even the year before that. Back then I got stuck and gave up, but now I finally saw how I could make things work out, and after 3,5 hours this was the result. I don't know the total amount I spent on this, much too long probably! So, lots of flaws in this most likely, in terms of lighting, perspective and so on. But I don't really care about them any more. I like the roughness, it reminds me of the old canvasses and paintings. It's a fantasy piece, and the substance inside the hourglass is not quite the regular sand you'd expect to find. But then again, Mortimer is not your regular dormouse either...

Definitely want to try out more things like this.

Oh, and sorry for the hideous watermarks, but I am rather too careful than to have stuff stolen, especially works like these.
